Hi all! My name is Claire Holohan. As a medical herbalist in the Scottish Highlands, she raises animals and plants on her farm.
In this first course for everyone in Japan, I will introduce my life and herbal therapy in a special way!
Through these three courses, I am a phytotherapist here in Scotland, where medical herbs are recognized by law as medical treatment, and I will be able to learn about herbal remedies and how to use them for daily health management, well-being, and mental care.

I met Claire four summers ago during a farmstay in Scotland.
Surrounded by cute goats and chickens, beautiful flowers and herbs, and using herbs freshly picked from the kitchen garden for the treatment and life of patients, I longed for a way of life.
The best stay spent feeding, picking herbs, peeling beans for tinctures. I was having so much fun that I wanted to bring everyone with me, so much so that I planned a study tour with her during my stay. We are delighted to be able to introduce Claire's way of life to you this time.
